Startup Labs will accept 5 teams. Each accepted team will upon acceptance receive approximately $30,000 USD and a three week program to accelerate their startup.
To qualify for the program a team must have between 2 – 5 founders. All of them must be committed to the project they are working on, and willing to do it full-time upon entering the program. Teams must be focused on web or mobile startups. Teams that are brand new are welcome to apply as well as teams that may already be generating revenue. The most important aspect is the amount of progress a team makes based on where they were when they entered the program and where they are when they leave. The best teams will leave mentors and investors wondering how they were able to make so much progress in only three weeks. This will be slightly different for each team but the things teams will be evaluated on are below:
- Time to implement new features and create product
- Quality of execution and quality of product
- Demonstrated traction (user acquisition, generating revenue, triggering investment).
