We’re coming from running Startup Weekend, we share office space with TechStars Seattle, Startup Weekend and work closely with Startup Weekend teams. We are experts in helping teams launch as quickly as possible with as little as possible. We’ve seen entrepreneurs pitch an idea on a Friday, form a team that night, build a prototype that weekend and have a signed term sheet for $2M in a total of 8 days (Memolane). Our goal is to create more stories like that even if you’re not a good fit for our fund, we want to help you get the traction you’re capable of and augment your network. We are a fund that operates with the same spirit as Startup Weekend.
- We offer one application for you to apply to accelerators. Submit an application
- We offer $16,000 for 8% to early stage startups, just check the box in the application if you’re interested. We invest quickly and purely based on the team.
- We pass all applications onto accelerators regardless of what box you checked or our investment decision.
- We want to put rocket skates on you, if we don’t think you should take our capital we’ll tell you. We’re coming from Startup Weekend, for us it’s about helping first. Our fund is one tool in our toolbox and certainly not the most important one. We think by best positioning you, good things will happen to us. A “Thank You” email equals success.
